Mimi back in the hospital....

Last week, Melissa was readmitted to the hospital after suffering from a bad headache. It was a result of very high blood pressure! Yikes! It was very bad at the end of her pregnancy bc she developed pre-eclampsia. It was so tough...newborn baby at home and she had to leave her to be at the hospital. It was so important though that they caught this when they did. She could have had a stroke or a seizure! Very scary! So thank you Presby docs for getting her taken care of!

Kate and I made it our mission to keep Melissa "happy"! We knew that she needed to be distracted! So we brought Starbucks, a book, watched cartoons, ate lunch, etc. for 2 days! Kate was an angel (seriously) for 2 days while we helped out! She played so well there...she slept there on the second day, would lay around in bed with Melissa...she was wonderful! It was so awesome to me that she was so good and allowed me to be a good friend!

After being away from Emery for a little over 24 hours, she was able to have the baby room-in with her on Tuesday night...and then was released on Wednesday to come home!
