Kate & Emery's 1st Gift Exchange

Melissa and Emery came over right before we left for Mexico so that we could have a gift exchange with the girls! (and ourselves!) These two little sweeties have brought so much joy to our own lives...and to each others. It is getting really exciting to see them interacting more and more! Kate truly loves Emery! She is the only baby that Kate has been ok with me holding. Kate loves to help out in any way we will let her!

Kate was trying to help us get Emery to pose for a picture....she really wasn't trying to put Em in a choke hold.

Melissa got Kate this adorable Hello Kitty necklace that I had previously had a fit over! She loves it and has worn it lots already!

Melissa and Emery also got Kate a Barbie outfit! We were really excited to see how tickled Kate was about getting an outfit for her Barbie!

Then Mel got Kate a Barbie bathroom set! It came with a bath tub, a flat screen tv/towel stand (ha ha) and a potty! Once Kate got a hold of the bath tub....Barbie had to take her clothes off and has been naked ever since! Ha ha

Mel was thinking the Barbie potty might really help Kate start thinking about potty-training! Kate was excited to make Barbie go potty!

Emery is a doll! She smiles and laughs all the time now!
