Munoz Visit

Mark and Kristi Munoz came out to visit this month! It was so awesome! We hadn't seen them in a year....although thanks to all the pictures, emails and phone calls...it didn't seem quite that long. They flew in on Thursday! They were so sweet to bring Kate a bag of goodies! New Halloween books, a Hello Kitty doll dressed up like a little lamb, and a doggy to match the book about "Biscuit" the dog. So thoughtful! I loved them getting to see her in action! We got to be around Alexa and Trent (their two oldest) when they were little and we have such special memories of them....so it was really great for them to get to spend a little time with just Kate!

We got to take them by the wrestling room. (And then later several of the MMA guys worked out at the gym!) Then we got to take them out to Ruth Chris's for dinner! Kate was fantastic! Her first nice steak house experience and she did great! We got to visit and catch up the whole evening!

Friday morning...Kate, Kristi and I headed up to OK! The trip just flew by with so much to talk about! Kristi just cracked me up with all the things she misses about Oklahoma. We stopped at a gas station in Ardmore and she just loved all the accents and the friendly people! Made her giddy! We had a nice time on the way up and back just visiting! Kristi had an OSU softball reunion weekend ahead and I was going to meet up with Jenni in Norman once she got off work. Then head over to the game on Saturday with my family!

Ty and Mark stayed in Dallas for the UFC fights. It was a really cool weekend for Ty. He got to be a part of "Mark's world" for a few days. They got to go eat with several of the UFC guys throughout the weekend...got to meet some of the big name fighters in the sport....got to meet up with another OSU Cowboy turned UFC fighter Jake Roshault. Mark was a corner man that night for the main event. Ty was already planning on going since one of the whole salers who calls on him had invited him to come watch the fights in his suite! It was a really fun guy's weekend for him!

Lunch with Mark and Uriah Faber
